Questions and FAQs

What is the EGL approach?

Envision Global Leadership (EGL) is a premier firm focused on developing leaders with skills to lead in a global workplace. We provide education, consulting, and coaching to people who are facing the challenges of today’s world.

Our development model is built on a deep understanding of the human processes of change, the most current research on emotional intelligence, and a strong focus on organizations. This allows you work with a coaching client in the context of their organization. Your approach works consistently with the person and allows positive change to occur quickly.

For the first time, we are opening our coaching practice to the public. While we are primarily a leadership development company, we are acting on our commitment to creating professional competence in the coaching world and teaching not just how to coach, but how to operate a coaching business that adds value to your clients and creates long-lasting relationships.

How will this coach training benefit me beyond getting new skills?

Besides learning the techniques of executive coaching, you will learn about how to operate in an executive development business.

You will learn how to navigate the complex world of consulting and coaching in corporate environments. We will include how to partner with internal groups such as Learning & Development or Human Resources.

Combination of face-to-face and virtual sessions. By using web conferencing and outside work we are able to reduce the travel requirements for you.

On-line private memberships site. You will have membership in our new coach's web site along with all of EGL's coaches. This site contains extensive coaching resources as well as video records of training sessions, recordings of our calls, and all class materials.

Support to obtain ICF certification. We will provide you with all information, forms, and methods needed to enter the portfolio application process. We also have an optional session that provides all the supervised coaching and mentor sessions required to complete the training requirements for ICF certification. Please contact us for more information on this optional addition.

Association with EGL. We are in a growth mode and are rapidly expanding. You will become a part of our EGL network of coaches, with potential associations and opportunities from that relationship. Also, you will receive part of the same training all of our coaches will go through, as well as creating a relationship with EGL executive leadership.

Individual feedback and support. During the program you will receive personalized feedback and development suggestions that are monitored and supported by all of our instructors. We will monitor and adjust your learning play to best suit your needs.

Peer learning groups. There will be outside work for the training, in which you will record practice coaching sessions. These will be reviewed by a peer learning group for additional development and feedback. You will be providing feedback to others in these groups as well.
