When Evans decided to get a Ph.D., while also working a full-time managerial job, he found to his dismay that the best program was a one-way 180-mile commute. He came up with an alternative plan to fly himself, but he first had to learn how. The result was four airman’s licenses, two airplanes, and a rental and instruction business, along with the Ph.D.

Evans talks about leading as a passion and as an inspiration that creates one’s personal authority to lead others. He believes that more than anything, leadership is about who a person is and how others experience that person. He is convinced that everyone has the innate capability to led through the heart and head.
