What are EGL's Leadership Assessments?

Put simply, a leadership assessment is an estimation of your nature, quality, or ability to actively lead a group of people, or an organization.  The term is used to describe the outcome, as stated above, as well as often being used to describe the process of assessment, or even a product that provides a report on leadership capabilities.

The process of leadership assessment can be one that uses surveys, interviews, observations, extant data analysis, or any combination of these.  EGL uses combinations of all of the above, in packages designed to fit your unique need

Leadership Self Assessments

TheLeaderScapeTM gathers multiple LMRe reports to provide a single view picture of your overall leadership pool. This informs where to most effectively invest in your leaders.

LMRe (Leadership MultiRater Enterprise): The LMRe is an empirically designed and performance validated MultiRater instrument delivered on-line through EGL’s member portal. The LMRe report compares a leader’s current portfolio of leadership engagement styles against a desired profile designed to maximize organization performance.

We have the LMRe or Enterprise, and the LMRi, for individual leaders.  Additionally, we do full assessment processes, which combine the LMRe with interviews, observations, and self-assessments to provide the most full perspective possilb.e

At times, a leader just needs to do some personal reflection and use an assessment to create new awareness.  EGL's Self Assessments match the constructs of the LMR.  They have more depth of questions in order to provide some offset to the lack of external feedback.  They provide a great compliment to our coaching programs.

What do you get from these assessments?

EGL primarily uses a proprietary assessment process, called the EGL LMR, which has both Enterprise (LMRe) and individual (LMRi) versions. It is an empirically designed and performance validated instrument, delivered on-line through EGL’s client portal.
When used to the fullest potential, this can serve to support both progression planning for the organization, in providing an overview of the bench strength of the future leaders, as well as pin-pointed development plans to be used by individuals.

As an individual, you will get feedback in a consolidated report that builds your profile of essential leadership competencies.  You will learn strengths, weaknesses, and areas of development that will help you develop the proper portfolio of skills.

As an organization, you can also create a profile of a set of leaders, creating an overall growth map for your organization.

Who are they for?

Anyone who is leading or planning to lead people can benefit from knowing more about their overall leadership ability.  In particular, the more relationship based the work, the more important these become.
